crowdfunder (“the service”) is a personal project by The Boardgames Family that helps you track your crowdfunding pledges. We take your privacy seriously and collect only the minimum data needed to make the service work.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: your name and email address, used to identify your account and send essential service emails (e.g. password reset).
• Pledge data: the campaign names, amounts, dates, currencies, and notes you enter manually. This data belongs to you.
• Usage data: basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security monitoring and debugging. Logs are retained for up to 30 days.

3. How we use your data

• To provide and improve the service.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To send transactional emails (password reset, account-related notifications).

We do not sell your data, share it with third-party advertisers, or use it for marketing.

4. Data sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties, except as required by law or to operate the service (e.g. hosting infrastructure). Any third-party service providers are bound by data-processing agreements and may only process your data on our behalf.

5. Data retention

Your account and pledge data are retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which will permanently delete all associated data. This action is irreversible.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your view preferences are stored in your browser's local storage and never sent to our servers.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Most of this can be done directly in the app. For any requests you cannot fulfil yourself, contact us at the address below.
